Welcome Message -K-sure

Welcome to the website of Korea Trade Insurance Corporation,
Dear people of Korea and the clients of K-sure!
We at K-sure continued to contribute to the Korean economy in 2013 as well by assisting exporters successfully develop overseas markets through KRW 203 trillion in trade insurance support.
The year 2014 also poses many challenges, namely delay in economic recovery in the U.S., the EU, and other advanced markets and heightened tensions in Ukraine and Iraq. Thus, we face the task of opening a safe export route for Korean enterprises while overcoming various global uncertainties.
Amid these difficulties, I lead K-sure with the spirit of 解弦更張, which means to change the loose strings of a zither.
To better assist regional SMEs we restructured our organization and adopted the “division headquarters system” where quick on-site and one-stop support is now possible by delegating stronger decision-making power to our regional divisions. As a result, voices heard from SMEs on-site will be better reflected on our business, and we will be able to offer faster trade insurance services for SMEs by accommodating their situations and development stage.
Under this platform, we will focus our capacity to helping globalize SMEs and Korea firms win bids on overseas projects. In the meantime, we ask people of Korea and our clients to watch over us supporting Korea to secure momentum for sustainable development and decent job creation.
Moreover, we will also concentrate on CSR and innovating our organization to become a public corporation winning public trust from their perspectives.
Dear people of Korea,
Celebrating the 50th year of “Trade Day”, 2013 has been a meaningful year for Korea for its “Triple Crown”, attaining the largest export volume, the biggest trade surplus, and the trade volume of one trillion dollars for three consecutive years.
The year 2014 marks new start for the country, ready to dash forward to the era of two trillion dollars in trade when Korean enterprises actively develop overseas markets in a more vast economic arena where they create more value.
We ask for your sharp critiques and warm encouragements for the 22-year-old K-sure who will run along with you, Korean exporters.
Thank you very much.
