Mirae Asset GEM Local Bond Fund

The fund primarily invests in fixed income securities that are denominated in emerging market currencies and in derivative instruments whose returns are linked to the performance of emerging market currencies. The strategy’s primary focus is on emerging market bonds denominated in local currencies in order to benefit from currency appreciation, higher yields, and capital gains.

The Global Dynamic Bond Fund aims to achieve income and capital growth through a diversified portfolio by investing predominantly in debt securities (e.g. bonds) from emerging and developed markets. As emerging market economies continue to grow on the back of solid fundamentals and demographic patterns, the fund aims to exploit this shift by allocating assets dynamically to the most attractive fixed income sectors during any given market conditions.

Mirae Asset Emerging Market Bond

The Emerging Market Bond Fund identifies credit risk premiums that exist within emerging markets corporate and sovereign securities. The fund seeks investment opportunities that provide credit premiums and currencies premiums from the global bond market with a particular focus on emerging markets. In order to balance risks and returns within growing economies this fund uses top-down analysis to build a dynamic portfolio and take advantage of high credit quality names within the investment grade sector.
